Bring the thing you have been working on
Half the room wants to see what you made. You get a table, a sign with your name on it, and as much or as little conversation as you want.
What a table includes
- Half a standard table, power, and a chair. Ask for a full table if your project needs it.
- A printed placard with your name, your project name and one sentence about it. We print it, you write it.
- No talk, no slot, no stage. Stay at the table as long as you like and go build something the rest of the time.
- A Jam Maker will cover your table for a few minutes if you need to step away.
The only reason not to bring it is thinking it is not good enough
Three tables that would fit
A Pi, a camera and a feeder outside a kitchen window. It saves a photo when something moves. It also saves 400 photos of a branch. Bring the photos, they are the best part.
Printed in parts, strung with fishing line, closes when you bend your wrist. The two failed versions are as interesting as the one that works, so bring all three.
Two levels, one boss, a sound effect recorded on a phone. Put it on a laptop and let people play it. Kids will queue.
Apply for a table
Four questions. A person reads it and replies, usually within two days. Applying does not commit you, and you can pull out on the day with no hard feelings.
